Job Summary

We are looking for a Construction Superintendent to oversee daily operations on our active construction sites. You will be the primary supervisor on-site, responsible for managing subcontractors, ensuring work quality, and maintaining a strict project timeline. This is a leadership position that requires a balance of technical construction knowledge and the ability to manage diverse teams in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• On-Site Supervision: Direct all daily field activities and manage the flow of subcontractors and vendors to ensure project continuity.
• Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections of work-in-progress to ensure compliance with architectural blueprints, engineering specifications, and company standards.
• Timeline Management: Monitor the master construction schedule and proactively address any delays or resource shortages to keep the project on track.
• Safety & Compliance: Act as the primary Safety Officer on-site, ensuring all workers adhere to OSHA regulations and local Georgia safety protocols.
• Material Management: Oversee the delivery and storage of materials, verifying quantities and quality upon arrival to prevent loss or damage.
• Daily Reporting: Maintain detailed daily logs, including weather conditions, site visitors, progress photos, and any incidents or delays.
• Inspections: Coordinate and attend all municipal inspections (building, electrical, plumbing) to ensure the project passes code requirements at every phase.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 8+ years of hands-on experience in the construction industry, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or foreman role.
• Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, site plans, and technical specifications.
• Knowledge: Deep understanding of Atlanta/Georgia building codes and regional soil/site conditions.
• Certifications: Current OSHA 30-hour certification is highly preferred.
• Leadership: Proven ability to manage subcontractors and resolve on-site conflicts effectively.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to remain active on your feet for long periods, climb ladders, and navigate active construction sites in various weather conditions.

Pay: $3, $4,350.00 per month
