Job Summary

For All Seasons is a well-respected non-profit Behavioral Health and Rape Crisis Center serving Maryland's Mid-Shore region. The Behavioral Therapist provides trauma-informed, client-centered clinical services using evidence-based modalities within their scope of practice. Clinicians balance a clinical caseload while collaborating across departments to ensure high-quality behavioral health care.

This position includes on-site clinician coverage at Chesapeake College Wye Mills campus and FAS Cambridge office, initially one day per week, with the potential to expand to two days per week as demand grows. This role offers the opportunity to support students in a campus-based setting while contributing to the broader mission of For All Seasons.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide trauma-informed therapeutic services appropriate to the client's age, diagnosis, developmental level, and mental status for individuals, families, and groups
  • Assess client strengths, needs, abilities, and preferences; formulate diagnostic impressions using current DSM criteria; and develop individualized, person-centered treatment plans
  • Provide on-site behavioral health services at Chesapeake College as assigned
  • Complete assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, discharge summaries, authorizations, and other required documentation accurately and in a timely manner
  • Deliver direct behavioral health services for a minimum of 65% of allocated clinical hours, in accordance with agency standards
  • Participate in professional in-service training and community education activities
  • Make appropriate referrals to community resources and complete all related documentation
  • Participate as a member of the treatment team to promote collaboration and positive client outcomes
  • Attend scheduled supervision sessions and prepare relevant case presentations, ethical questions, and clinical concerns
  • Maintain current licensure, certifications, and required continuing education
  • Communicate clinical concerns to the Clinical Supervisor and Chief Clinical Officer as appropriate
  • Maintain positive, professional working relationships with leadership and team members

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to provide culturally responsive, trauma-informed care
  • Strong written and verbal communication, organizational, and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities with minimal supervision
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations and maintain professionalism in crisis or high-stress environments
  • Willingness to participate in meetings and trainings as assigned
  • Conduct oneself in accordance with agency policies, values, and applicable professional codes of ethics
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and all applicable laws and regulations
  • Ability to act with urgency, accountability, and sound judgment
  • Willingness and ability to travel to campus and other assigned locations

Education and Experience

  • Master's degree in social work, Professional Counseling, or a related field
  • Current, active licensure in good standing in the State of Maryland

Pay: $ $37.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8.0 – 16.0 per week
