Position Overview

Global Environmental & Industrial Response (GEIR) is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee and execute client projects within the environmental and industrial sectors. In this role, you will manage all aspects of project delivery, from cost estimation and budgeting to subcontractor coordination and client satisfaction. You'll serve as a key point of contact for customers and internal teams, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Essential Functions

  • Manage environmental and industrial projects, including cost estimates, budget spreadsheets, and subcontractor coordination.
  • Interface directly with clients to understand requirements and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Provide direction and support to project teams.
  • Work with vendors and suppliers to obtain pricing and manage delivery schedules.
  • Coordinate work schedules and manpower needs with the operations manager.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete assigned project tasks.
  • Develop and present project progress status reports.
  • Identify workplace hazards and develop safety execution plans.
  • Administer contracts and change orders.
  • Travel to project sites as required.
  • Maintain effective communication and coordination with managers and departments to share relevant project information.
  • Prepare daily job packs.
  • Assist with scheduling deadlines and maintain deliverables schedules for multiple projects.
  • Maintain project folders and ensure all documentation and records are correctly entered into project management software.
  • Adhere to all GEIR safety standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 2–5 years of relevant experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and scheduling/project management software
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and assignments simultaneously
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills; able to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Strong professional oral and written communication skills
