Part-Time Dishwasher

A part-time dishwasher supports the kitchen by keeping dishes, utensils, and equipment clean,

sanitized, and ready for use.

Main duties

Clean and sanitize plates, glasses, silverware, cookware, and kitchen tools using industrial

dishwashers and hand-washing when required.

Load, organize, and unload dish racks, then return clean items to the proper storage areas

so staff can access them quickly.

Maintain a tidy dish station by wiping counters, sweeping and mopping floors, and removing

garbage and recycling.

Use correct food-safety procedures, including mixing and using sanitizing solutions properly

and handling cleaning chemicals safely.

Provide basic kitchen support such as light prep work, simple food tasks, or helping with

putting away deliveries when needed.

Part-Time: $13-$15; Based on Experience

Skills and work conditions

Able to stand for extended periods, lift heavy racks or pots, and work efficiently in a hot,

busy environment.

Understands basic sanitation and cleanliness standards and can manage time well to keep

up during rush periods.

Works well with others and communicates clearly with cooks, servers, and other team

members.

Typically works mornings and/or evenings and some weekends with flexibility to cover shifts that match

meal service times.
