Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Line Cook/Prep Cook/Dishwasher to join our culinary team. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about food preparation, kitchen operations, and providing excellent food service. Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards, ensuring consistency and presentation.
  • Assist with menu planning and ingredient preparation for daily service.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including washing dishes, utensils, and cookware as needed.
  • Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Handle food products safely, including proper storage, handling, and portioning.
  • Support catering events or special functions as required.
  • Assist with meal preparation for dietary or special needs clients when applicable.
  • Contribute to a team-oriented environment by supporting fellow kitchen staff and front-of-house team members.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food industry roles such as dietary aide, line cook, prep cook, or dishwasher preferred.
  • Knowledge of food handling safety standards and proper sanitation procedures.
  • Skills in knife handling, meal preparation, and basic cooking techniques.
  • Familiarity with menu planning, food presentation, and catering operations is a plus.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to follow directions accurately.
  • Experience in restaurant or culinary settings demonstrating reliability and professionalism.
  • A passion for food service and a desire to grow within the culinary field.
