Line Cook

Overview
We are seeking a Line Cook to join our team. Must be experienced with dinner primarily.

Our restaurant is open 7AM to 9PM. We're looking for a Line cook to work 2 to 9PM. Some times weekends.

Duties

• Cook menu items. Of course will be taught as you go.
• Ensure all food is made on time. Timing is everything. For example... toast should come out with the rest of the food. Fries should be ready with burger or sandwich.
• Maintain cleanliness (PLEASE) and organization of the kitchen workspace, including equipment and utensils.
• Adhere to food safety guidelines, including proper food handling and sanitation practices. Don't touch face. IF you do wash your hands before touching THE FOOD.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Experience as a cook in the food industry, preferably in a Breakfast and Dinner foods.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and knife skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Decent communication skills.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed depending on if other cooks request the days off or not.
• We do prefer the cooks to be groomed properly and wear a hat or hairnet as we DO NOT WANT HAIR in the food we serve. The customers will appreciate it as well.

For the most part it is pretty relaxed. Of course if mistakes happen we always reiterate how to cook/prepare the food the correct way depending on what mistake happened.
