Duties

  • Provide technical support to end-users across various departments by diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues promptly.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware components such as desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
  • Troubleshoot software problems related to applications like Microsoft Office and other productivity tools.
  • Maintain network infrastructure including LAN (Local Area Network), VPN (Virtual Private Network), firewalls, and switches to ensure secure connectivity.
  • Assist in setting up and supporting IT infrastructure projects involving operating systems deployment, network upgrades, or security enhancements.
  • Conduct regular system updates, backups, and security patches to protect organizational data.
  • Communicate effectively with users at all levels to provide clear guidance on technical issues and solutions.
  • Document procedures and maintain accurate records of hardware inventory, network configurations, and support activities.
  • Assist in pulling low voltage cabling.
  • Maintain wireless networks.

Experience

  • Proven experience in providing IT support within a corporate or enterprise environment.
  • Strong knowledge of operating systems.
  • Hands-on experience with computer networking concepts such as LAN/WAN setup, VPN configuration, firewall management, and troubleshooting.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot software issues related to Microsoft Office applications and other common business tools.
  • Experience managing computer hardware components and performing routine maintenance tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure components including servers, switches, routers, and security devices is preferred.
