Head Housekeeper

Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Head Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping team in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive cleaning knowledge, and a background in hospitality or janitorial services. This role is vital in ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all guests and staff.

Duties

• Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations, including room cleaning, public area maintenance, and special cleaning projects
• Train and mentor housekeeping staff on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and customer service standards
• Oversee floor care activities such as carpet cleaning, polishing, and waxing to ensure pristine surfaces
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper usage and timely replenishment
• Develop and implement efficient cleaning schedules to optimize productivity while maintaining quality standards
• Collaborate with hotel management to address guest requests or concerns related to housekeeping services
• Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment

Qualifications

• Proven experience in hotel housekeeping, janitorial services, or industrial cleaning roles
• Strong background in custodial management with knowledge of floor care techniques and cleaning best practices
• Previous experience in hospitality or hotel environment preferred
• Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate staff
• Attention to detail with a focus on quality assurance and guest satisfaction
• Ability to train staff effectively on cleaning procedures and safety protocols
• Knowledge of cleaning equipment, chemicals, and safety standards required for industrial or commercial environments
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently

Pay: $ $12.50 per hour
