What you'll do

• Greet clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism, ensuring a positive experience from the moment they arrive.
• Schedule appointments efficiently, managing the clinic's calendar to optimize patient flow.
• Handle medical collections with accuracy, ensuring all transactions are processed smoothly.
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage client communications regarding follow-ups and reminders.
• Assist in animal handling and restraint during examinations or treatments, ensuring the safety of both pets and staff.
• Provide support in various areas including pet grooming, dog training, and general pet care advice to clients.
• Collaborate with the veterinary team to facilitate effective communication regarding patient care and treatment plans.
• Uphold cleanliness standards in the reception area while adhering to aseptic techniques in all interactions.

Basic qualifications

• Strong knowledge of veterinary terminology and animal anatomy to communicate effectively with clients and staff.
• Experience in animal husbandry or veterinary settings is highly preferred.

Preferred qualifications

• Previous experience in medical collections or administrative roles within a veterinary practice.
• Familiarity with laboratory procedures or critical care environments is a plus.
• Experience handling various animals, including dogs, with confidence and care.
