Salary Information
$28.00 per hour.
Job Summary
Coordinate program laboratories and assist instructors in the operation of the lab areas and equipment to facilitate the student learning process.
Monday – Thursday, daytime hours; Friday, morning hours hours per week.
Essential Functions
Prepare and organize digital and print materials and lab equipment needed for student training.
Clean up after completion of lab training activities and maintain inventory of materials and supplies for lab equipment.
Maintain records as requested by instructors.
Set up lab trainers for student practice and assessment.
Contact vendors regarding purchases and initiate requisitions.
Monitor and update SDS information and notify instructors of updates as appropriate.
Establish maintenance schedule and repair equipment or arrange for repairs.
Provide supplemental training to students as needed.
Required Qualifications
Associate's degree or diploma in a maintenance, electrical, or mechanical field or completion of a formal building trades apprenticeship program.
Three years experience in a maintenance, electrical, mechanical, or warehouse occupation.
Ability to do job site materials estimates.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to plan, organize and manage projects
Ability to track inventory of equipment and supplies.
Knowledge of current software applications, especially Microsoft Office 365 and Adobe Acrobat.
Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain a professional working relationship with a wide variety of individuals coming from varied backgrounds.
