Smokin Fins is seeking a skilled, motivated Kitchen Manager to lead our Heart of House (HOH) team in Chandler. As Kitchen Manager, you'll own the back-of-house experience - driving food quality, consistency, safety, efficiency, and team development while ensuring our guests receive the high-energy, high-quality experience Smokin Fins is known for.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all kitchen operations, including expo, prep, and line execution
- Maintain consistent food quality, recipe adherence, portion control, and plate presentation standards
- Manage inventory, conduct weekly counts, place orders, and maintain strong COGS discipline
- Ensure all food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards are fully met (ServSafe standards)
- Hire, train, coach, and develop kitchen staff; foster a positive, high-performance HOH culture
- Build efficient scheduling models to align labor with business volume
- Maintain equipment, oversee repairs, and ensure safe/clean operational workflows
- Collaborate with the GM on menu execution, rollouts, specials, and operational improvements
- Uphold OTLRG's culture of athletic hospitality, teamwork, and continuous improvement
Qualifications
- 3+ years in a kitchen leadership role (Kitchen Manager, Sous Chef, or higher)
- Strong culinary and operational skill set, with deep knowledge of scratch-kitchen processes
- Proven track record in staff development, training, and team leadership
- Solid understanding of food safety, sanitation, and regulatory compliance (ServSafe preferred)
- Strong communicator with excellent organization, time-management, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work on your feet for extended periods, and thrive in a fast-paced, high-heat environment

Pay: $55, $70,000.00 per year
