Certified Medical Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. Duties

• Greet and prepare patients for examinations and procedures in a professional manner
• Assist healthcare providers during patient examinations and treatments
• Take vital signs, medical histories, and document patient information accurately
• Prepare and administer medications as directed by physicians, including injections and medication administration
• Collect laboratory specimens and perform basic diagnostic tests as needed
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations
• Ensure cleanliness and sterilization of medical equipment and exam rooms
• Educate patients on treatment plans, medication instructions, and health maintenance
• Manage appointment scheduling, patient flow, and follow-up communications to optimize clinic efficiency

Requirements

• Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program is required
• Prior hospital or clinical experience is highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures
• Experience with medication administration, including injections and oral medications
• Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to patient interactions
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare teams to deliver exceptional patient service

Pay: $ $26.22 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
