Part-Time Restaurant Host/Hostess

Host/Hostess - Artisan Restaurant | Southport, CT
Artisan Southport; an upscale, chef-driven restaurant known for New England inspired American cuisine and warm, country-chic hospitality, is seeking a professional Host/Hostess to join our front-of-house team.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and schedule dining reservations (OpenTable experience preferred)
• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their seats
• Communicate guest needs to dining room staff to ensure prompt, exceptional service
• Maintain full knowledge of our menu, concept, and dining procedures
• Answer guest questions and introduce them to their server
• Support smooth front-of-house operations in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications:

• Previous fine dining host/hostess experience required
• Strong customer service, communication, and phone etiquette skills
• Ability to multitask and remain professional under pressure
• Fluent in English
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Availability to work weekends and holidays is required

Schedule

• Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 3:00/4:00 PM

Hourly Pay

• $16.35/hour + tips
