Medical Assistant

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to healthcare professionals, ensuring efficient patient care delivery and smooth clinic operations.

Duties

• Assist healthcare providers in patient examinations and procedures
• Perform basic clinical tasks such as taking vital signs and preparing patients for examinations
• Administer medications under the direction of healthcare providers
• Conduct X-rays and other diagnostic procedures as required
• Provide medical administrative support including patient scheduling and medical record management
• Assist in coding and billing processes
• Handle patient inquiries and provide excellent customer service
• Support emergency medicine activities in a Level I Trauma Center

Skills

• Proficient in patient service and care delivery
• Experience in medication administration and basic life support
• Familiarity with X-Ray procedures
• Knowledge of medical coding practices
• Ability to provide medical administrative support efficiently
• Previous exposure to emergency medicine environments is a plus
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced hospital setting

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $1, $2,900.00 per month
