Role Description
This is a full-time, in-home and private preschool-based role in Wallingford, CT, for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The BCBA will have a flexible schedule including teleheath options. They will design and oversee individualized behavior analytic programs, supervise the implementation of these programs by team members, and analyze data to track client progress. Responsibilities also include conducting functional behavior assessments, providing parent education, creating behavior management strategies, and collaborating with families, caregivers, and other professionals. This role requires maintaining adherence to evidence-based practices while upholding the organization's ethical values and commitment to care. BCBA supervisee candidates are available and willing to aid in clinical work to support the BCBA.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Behavior Analysis and Applied Behavior Analysis methodologies
- Experience in Behavior Management and Parent Education strategies
- Background in Psychology and understanding of human behavior principles
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with families and other professionals
- Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Knowledge of assent-based and compassion-driven ABA practices
- Proven ability to manage data-driven treatment planning and implementation
- Master's degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field
- Experience in developing socially significant and individualized treatment plans
