Dishwasher/Food Prep

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Dishwasher/Food Prep team member to join our dynamic culinary environment. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen while supporting food preparation and service operations. Ideal candidates will have a passion for hospitality, food handling, and ensuring a positive guest experience. Prior experience in restaurant, catering, or hotel settings is a plus, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn and grow within our team.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to ensure cleanliness and sanitation standards are met
• Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, portioning, and assembling ingredients
• Support food service operations by bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas
• Help with basic catering and banquet setup and breakdown as needed
• Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene compliance
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, including sweeping, mopping, and trash disposal
• Assist in inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying management of stock needs
• Support the culinary team during busy service periods by providing timely assistance

Skills

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant, catering, or hospitality environments preferred
• Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices
• Ability to perform basic food preparation tasks such as chopping and assembling ingredients
• Strong organizational skills with attention to cleanliness and detail
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
• Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
• Flexibility to assist with various kitchen duties including bussing, cleaning, and food prep
• Experience with banquet or hotel food service is a plus
