Part-Time Transportation Driver

Lirio Resources is seeking a safe and reliable driver to provide transport to our Day Services individuals served at our Rensselaer & Monticello, Indiana facility Monday through Thursday. Operating a small company-owned transit vehicles, shifts typically begin at 6/7am, and end by 9am; then begin again at 3pm and end by 5/6 pm.

If an applicant desires Full-time employment, they may have the opportunity to work in other departments between routes or on other days/times. CDL is not required but encouraged.

The ideal candidate for this part-time job must have a good, clean driving record and a flexible schedule.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Drive bus/vehicle in a safe, courteous and professional manner.
· Follow risk plans of individuals being transported.
· Thorough, timely, and consistent communication.
· Keep bus/vehicle clean.
· Assist in scheduling and route determination.
· Complete all appropriate paperwork in a timely manner.
· Perform safety inspections and/or bus evacuations upon request.
· Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
· Be aware of weather and road conditions in your area; report this information to
Transportation Supervisor
· Report all mechanical problems to Transportation Supervisor
· Keep Transportation Supervisor informed of any changes in the above.
· Look for ways to improve processes and efficiencies.

Valid driver's license required. Passenger transports or commercial transports are not required. Company transports are only 12 passengers or less.
