Overview
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Sanitation Worker III to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards across our production and warehouse facilities. Your efforts will help ensure a safe, hygienic environment that meets industry regulations and supports our high-quality food processing operations. This position is perfect for someone with experience in industrial cleaning, custodial work, or commercial cleaning who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

****Scheduled is from 6:00am-6:00pm Thursday's/Friday's/Saturday's and Sundays only.***

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of production areas, machinery, and equipment to meet sanitation standards.
• Conduct industrial cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, pressure washing, and waste removal in warehouses and manufacturing zones.
• Assist with sanitation procedures in food processing areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Use heavy lifting techniques to move supplies, equipment, or waste containers safely and efficiently.
• Follow detailed cleaning schedules and document completed tasks accurately.
• Support team members during sanitation procedures that require attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment by properly storing cleaning supplies and equipment.

Skills

• Prior custodial or janitorial experience preferred, especially within food production or manufacturing settings.
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning methods and sanitation standards applicable to food processing environments.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail.
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment operation, and safety procedures.
• Strong work ethic with the ability to follow instructions precisely and work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: 1–3 years of sanitation or equivalent work experience.
• Licenses: Level III Power Equipment License (JBSS issued).
• Strong manual dexterity and vision
• Proficient in safe use of Cold Jet equipment
• Knowledge of industrial cleaners, degreasers, and sanitizers
• Basic math skills

Additional Information

• Subject to mandatory overtime based on business needs.
• May train Level I–III Sanitation Workers.
• In absence, duties covered by Department Manager or equally qualified personnel.
• No direct supervisory responsibility.
