We are seeking dedicated and reliable Picker/Packers to join our dynamic logistics team in Los Angeles, California. In this role, you will be instrumental in the efficient processing of orders, ensuring that our customers receive their products accurately and on time. Your responsibilities will include accurately picking items from warehouse shelves based on order tickets, carefully packaging those items for shipment, and preparing orders for dispatch. Attention to detail is paramount as you will be handling a variety of products, from small electronics to larger household goods. You'll work closely with other warehouse staff and supervisors to maintain a smooth workflow and contribute to overall warehouse productivity. This position requires a commitment to following all established safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment for everyone. Proper use of required PPE is mandatory. You will be expected to perform tasks involving regular lifting of goods up to 50 lbs. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from designated warehouse locations based on order specifications.
- Inspect items for damage before packaging.
- Carefully and efficiently pack items using appropriate materials to ensure safe transit.
- Label packages accurately with shipping information.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Assist with inventory counts as needed.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment safely.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily picking and packing targets.
- Understand and follow all company policies and procedures related to logistics and order fulfillment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or picking/packing role preferred, but not required.
- Ability to perform tasks involving significant lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of basic safety procedures and willingness to follow them.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
