Join our dynamic logistics team in Austin, Texas, as a Distribution Center Associate! We are looking for motivated individuals to contribute to the efficient operation of our distribution center. This role involves a variety of tasks essential for moving products throughout our facility, from receiving to shipping. A strong focus on Safety, accuracy, and teamwork is paramount. This is a great opportunity to grow within the logistics industry.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, inspect, and document incoming shipments accurately.
- Pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment according to specifications, utilizing RF scanners or pick sheets.
- Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and proficiently.
- Replenish inventory stock in designated warehouse locations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment, adhering to all Safety guidelines.
- Ensure the correct use and maintenance of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and assist in maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Follow all established procedures for warehouse operations and logistics flow.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to achieve daily goals.
- Must be able to perform tasks requiring regular Lifting of items up to 50 lbs, and sustained physical activity such as standing and walking.
- Contribute to a culture of Safety and continuous improvement within the distribution center.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is a plus.
- Ability to operate basic warehouse machinery safely.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting.
- Must possess the physical capacity to handle frequent Lifting, standing, walking, and bending for extended shifts.
- Demonstrated commitment to Safety protocols and procedures.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to work as part of a team.
