We are seeking a highly organized and meticulous Inventory Control Specialist to join our team in San Antonio, Texas. This critical role ensures the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory, which is essential for efficient Logistics and supply chain operations. You will be responsible for monitoring stock levels, conducting cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and implementing measures to improve inventory accuracy. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Experience with inventory management systems (IMS) and warehouse management systems (WMS) is highly preferred. This position may require some physical activity, including moderate Lifting and moving of inventory. Maintaining a safe working environment by adhering to all Safety procedures and properly using PPE is a must. Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the WMS/IMS.
- Monitor stock levels and report on potential shortages or overages.
- Implement and enforce inventory control procedures.
- Identify and suggest process improvements to enhance inventory accuracy.
- Ensure proper storage and organization of inventory.
- Adhere to all company Safety guidelines and use appropriate PPE .
- Collaborate with warehouse and operations teams to support efficient Logistics .
