You will be responsible for accurately picking items from warehouse shelves based on customer orders, preparing them for shipment, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves according to order tickets using scanners or other devices.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Pack items securely for shipment, ensuring they are protected during transit.
- Transport picked items to the shipping department.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring aisles are clear and items are properly stored.
- Operate pallet jacks and other equipment safely.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock checks as needed.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Report any damaged items or discrepancies to a supervisor immediately.
- Wear all required PPE , including safety vests and gloves.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse environment is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand order tickets and product labels.
- Proficiency in using handheld scanners is desirable.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift.
- Capability for frequent Lifting of items weighing up to 40 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety practices.
- Willingness to wear appropriate PPE .
