Are you an experienced and certified Forklift Operator? We have an immediate opening at our Richmond, Virginia facility! Join our dynamic logistics team and take charge of moving materials throughout our warehouse efficiently and safely. This role is integral to our supply chain operations, ensuring smooth inbound and outbound logistics. We prioritize a culture of Safety, and all employees are expected to follow rigorous safety protocols and utilize appropriate PPE. If you possess strong operational skills and a dedication to excellence, we want to hear from you. Experience with different types of forklifts is a significant advantage.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to transport, stack, and retrieve inventory within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks and containers, ensuring timely departures and arrivals.
- Organize and maintain inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Perform daily pre-operation checks on forklifts and report any malfunctions.
- Strictly adhere to all Safety guidelines and company policies.
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory verification.
- Requires consistent Lifting and maneuvering of products, often up to 50 pounds.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment in all areas.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve operational goals in our logistics network.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification and a proven track record of safe operation.
- Experience in a fast-paced warehouse or distribution center environment.
- Deep understanding of warehouse Safety procedures and best practices.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including regular Lifting.
- Strong spatial awareness and hand-eye coordination.
- Reliable and punctual, with a commitment to excellent attendance.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
- Flexibility to work different shifts as needed.
