Join our premier logistics company in San Jose, California, as a Forklift Operator! We need experienced and safety-conscious individuals to handle the efficient movement of goods. This role is crucial to our warehouse operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing of inbound and outbound shipments. You'll operate various types of forklifts and material handling equipment in a dynamic environment. A strong emphasis is placed on Safety, and adherence to all protocols is mandatory. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve inventory.
- Load and unload trailers and containers with precision and care.
- Organize and replenish stock within the warehouse racking system.
- Conduct pre-shift forklift inspections and report any defects promptly.
- Follow all Safety regulations and warehouse procedures meticulously.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Requires regular Lifting of items, potentially up to 50 pounds.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Support overall logistics flow and team objectives.
Qualifications:
- Current forklift certification and demonstrated experience operating various types of forklifts.
- Knowledge of warehouse procedures and inventory control.
- Commitment to maintaining a high level of Safety.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks involving Lifting and extended periods of standing/walking.
- Good hand-eye coordination and spatial reasoning.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
