Are you a certified and experienced Forklift Operator looking for a rewarding opportunity in Boston, Massachusetts? We are hiring! Join our fast-paced logistics team and contribute to the efficient movement of goods within our bustling distribution center. As a Forklift Operator, you will play a critical role in receiving, storing, and shipping inventory. Safety is our top priority, and we are committed to providing a secure working environment. This position requires precision, efficiency, and a keen awareness of surroundings. You'll operate various types of forklifts and material handling equipment. Proper use of PPE is mandatory at all times.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring accurate inventory counts.
- Move inventory within the warehouse, organizing stock in designated areas.
- Perform daily inspections of forklifts and report any issues immediately.
- Adhere strictly to all Safety protocols and company policies.
- Assist with order picking and packing as needed.
- Requires consistent Lifting of products, typically up to 50 pounds.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Contribute to overall logistics efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification and proven experience.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory management.
- Strong understanding of Safety procedures for forklift operation.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Comfortable working in a team-oriented setting.
- Experience with different types of forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach).
