Join our dynamic team as a Fulfillment Associate in the bustling city of Los Angeles, California! This position is integral to our distribution center operations, focusing on the accurate and timely processing of customer orders. You will be responsible for picking items from inventory, packing them securely, and preparing them for shipment. Exceptional attention to detail, efficiency, and a commitment to quality are key. We foster a safe work environment and expect all associates to strictly follow safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced logistics operation.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations based on customer orders.
- Inspect picked items for quality and ensure they match order details.
- Pack orders using appropriate materials to ensure product safety during transit.
- Label packages with correct shipping information and any special handling instructions.
- Assist in receiving and stocking incoming merchandise.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace and contribute to overall warehouse tidiness.
- Operate hand trucks and pallet jacks as needed for material movement.
- Conduct final quality checks before orders are dispatched.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily fulfillment goals and optimize logistics flow.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in order picking, packing, or general warehouse operations is a strong advantage. Ability to perform consistent physical activity, including frequent Lifting of up to 45 pounds. High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy are essential. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity targets. Basic computer literacy for using RF scanners and order management systems. Must be able to stand, walk, and bend for prolonged periods. Understanding of warehouse safety best practices and the critical importance of PPE. Familiarity with logistics and inventory management principles is beneficial. A team-oriented mindset and a willingness to learn new skills are highly desirable.
