Our Jacksonville, Florida distribution center is seeking an experienced Inventory Control Specialist to join our logistics team. This pivotal role is responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our inventory data and physical stock. You will implement and oversee inventory control procedures, conduct regular cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, and manage stock rotation to minimize waste. This position requires a meticulous approach, strong analytical skills, and a thorough understanding of warehouse logistics. You will work closely with warehouse management and operational staff to ensure optimal inventory levels and efficient storage solutions. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in inventory management, preferably within a high-volume logistics environment. Proficiency in using inventory management software and scanning equipment is essential. Safety is a critical aspect of this role; you must be knowledgeable about and adhere to all warehouse safety protocols, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). While this role may involve some moderate Lifting, the primary focus is on data accuracy and process improvement within our logistics operations.
