Design and develop a range of mechanical high precision components Prepare scheme drawings, and detail manufacturing drawings for production Perform mechanical component development and integration Solve a variety of mechanical engineering issues and improve existing designs Utilise and use CAD packages to create designs Contract Aerospace Mechanical Design Engineer Essential Skills/Experience/Qualifications
Extensive experience designing mechanical components/systems within the aerospace industry Ability to read complex engineering drawings and specifications Accomplished using CAD/design software In-depth knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and geometric tolerances Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify, analyse, and resolve complex design challenges.
