We are looking for a detail-oriented Picker/Packer to join our vibrant warehouse in Austin, Texas. In this essential role, you will be at the forefront of ensuring accurate and timely order fulfillment for our valued customers. Your daily tasks will include identifying and retrieving items from inventory based on pick lists, carefully packaging these items to prevent damage during transit, and preparing them for shipment. Precision and efficiency are key attributes for success in this position. This role requires physical stamina, including standing for long hours, walking, bending, and the ability to handle moderate Lifting. Our company places a high priority on Safety, and adherence to all Safety guidelines, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is expected. You will be an integral part of our logistics network, contributing directly to the efficiency and accuracy of our operations. We seek individuals who are reliable, possess strong organizational skills, and are motivated to contribute to a team-oriented environment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations based on order requirements.
- Verify item counts and product codes during the picking process.
- Pack items securely using appropriate materials.
- Affix correct shipping labels and necessary documentation.
- Use scanning technology to update inventory status.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the packing station.
- Comply with all Safety regulations and wear mandated PPE.
- Communicate any picking or packing issues to the supervisor.
