We are looking for a precise and efficient Order Picker to join our expanding logistics center in Los Angeles, California. Your primary duty will be to accurately select and retrieve products from warehouse shelves according to customer orders and prepare them for shipment. This role is critical to our order fulfillment process and requires a sharp eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for ensuring order accuracy and contributing to the overall productivity of the warehouse. A commitment to Safety and maintaining a clean workspace is essential. This position involves significant movement and Lifting.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on pick lists or RF scanner data.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Pack selected items securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Transport picked items to the packing or shipping station.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and report any discrepancies.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as needed.
- Keep the picking areas clean, organized, and free of obstructions.
- Adhere strictly to all company Safety regulations and procedures.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient order processing.
- Wear all required PPE throughout the shift.
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role.
- Familiarity with RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Ability to perform consistent Lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet productivity targets.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Understanding of warehouse logistics and Safety practices.
- High school diploma or GED required.
