We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead our team in Portland, Oregon. In this vital role, you will oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and adherence to all company policies and procedures. Your leadership will guide a team responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods, playing a crucial part in our overall Logistics strategy. We are deeply committed to maintaining a safe working environment, and you will be responsible for enforcing all Safety regulations, including the correct use of PPE , and promoting a safety-conscious culture among your team. This role involves direct oversight of operations that include considerable physical activity, such as managing teams involved in moderate to heavy Lifting . Responsibilities include scheduling staff, training new employees, monitoring performance metrics, and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency. You will also manage inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and coordinate with other departments and external partners to ensure seamless operations. Strong communication, problem-solving skills, and the ability to motivate a team are essential. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in warehouse supervision and a comprehensive understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS). Your leadership will be instrumental in driving operational excellence and ensuring the smooth functioning of our distribution center.
