You will be responsible for unloading incoming shipments, verifying packing slips against purchase orders, and inspecting goods for damage. Responsibilities:
- Unload incoming freight from trucks and verify contents.
- Inspect received goods for damage or discrepancies.
- Accurately record received items into the inventory management system.
- Compare packing slips against purchase orders.
- Stage received goods for put-away by other warehouse personnel.
- Report any discrepancies or damages to management immediately.
- Maintain a clean and organized receiving area.
- Adhere to all company safety protocols, including the correct use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or receiving role is advantageous.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving items.
- Good communication skills.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and PPE requirements.
