We have an immediate opening for a skilled Material Handler at our distribution center in Charlotte, North Carolina! If you have experience with material handling equipment and a strong focus on warehouse efficiency, this role is for you. You will be responsible for the safe and effective movement of materials, supporting all aspects of our warehouse operations. Your role is vital to our overall logistics , ensuring timely and accurate product flow. We emphasize a commitment to operational excellence and a secure working environment. Responsibilities include:
- Operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Loading and unloading shipments from trucks and containers.
- Transporting materials to and from various warehouse locations, including storage and shipping areas.
- Organizing and maintaining inventory in designated areas.
- Conducting daily safety checks on all equipment and reporting any issues immediately.
- Strict adherence to all warehouse safety regulations and protocols.
- Mandatory use of appropriate PPE , such as safety vests, steel-toed boots, and gloves.
- Assisting with receiving, stocking, and order fulfillment tasks as needed.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including repeated lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Working collaboratively with team members to achieve daily goals.
