We are seeking a diligent Material Handler for our busy warehouse in Phoenix, Arizona. This role is essential to the smooth operation of our logistics network, involving the movement and organization of goods within the facility. You will be responsible for safely handling materials, operating various warehouse equipment, and ensuring that inventory is accurately tracked and stored. Responsibilities:
- Safely load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
- Operate manual and powered equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified).
- Organize and stage inventory for optimal flow and accessibility.
- Assist with inventory counts and maintain accurate stock records.
- Ensure all materials are handled according to company procedures and Safety guidelines.
- Proper use of required PPE at all times.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment, ensuring clear pathways.
- Inspect equipment before use and report any malfunctions promptly.
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to achieve operational goals.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a Material Handler or similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including consistent Lifting of up to 55 pounds.
- Understanding of warehouse safety best practices and logistics.
- Proficiency in operating pallet jacks and other basic warehouse equipment.
- Demonstrated commitment to Safety and adherence to protocols.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and possess a strong work ethic.
