Tasks include unloading incoming shipments, verifying inventory, stocking products in designated areas, and accurately picking and packing customer orders. A strong commitment to teamwork and communication is essential as you collaborate with colleagues to meet operational targets. Safety is a top priority; you will be required to use designated PPE and adhere to all safety guidelines to maintain a secure and accident-free environment. This role involves regular physical activity, including significant lifting of items up to 50 lbs, bending, and standing for extended periods. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming stock.
- Stock merchandise in appropriate warehouse locations.
- Accurately pick items according to order specifications.
- Pack orders using appropriate materials to ensure product safety during transit.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch, including labeling and documentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock management.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily logistics goals.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Follow all company policies and procedures related to warehouse operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring frequent lifting (up to 50 lbs), standing, and walking for long durations.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to strictly follow safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Good communication skills.
- Understanding of basic logistics concepts is beneficial.
