A strong commitment to safety is paramount; you will be required to consistently use appropriate PPE and follow all safety guidelines to prevent accidents. This position involves regular lifting and movement of goods, with some items weighing up to 50 lbs. Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming goods, ensuring accuracy and identifying any damages.
- Stock shelves and storage areas, maintaining organization and accessibility.
- Pick and pack customer orders with precision and speed.
- Prepare shipments, ensuring correct labeling and packaging.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse environment.
- Adhere to all safety policies, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and stocktaking.
- Collaborate with team members to meet operational goals in our logistics center.
- Follow company procedures for handling and storing merchandise.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse experience is beneficial but not required.
- Physical capability to perform tasks involving frequent lifting (up to 50 lbs) and standing.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Commitment to safety protocols and PPE usage.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Good communication skills.
- Understanding of basic logistics principles is a plus.
