This position will involve frequent lifting of items, with some packages potentially weighing up to 60 lbs. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
- Verify quantities and quality of goods against shipping documents.
- Store inventory accurately in designated areas using proper handling techniques.
- Pick and pack customer orders efficiently and accurately.
- Prepare orders for shipment, ensuring correct labeling and packaging.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and stock checks.
- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Contribute to team goals and objectives in a fast-paced logistics setting.
- Support other warehouse operations as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus.
- Physical ability to perform tasks requiring frequent lifting (up to 60 lbs) and standing for extended periods.
- Basic math and reading skills.
- Commitment to workplace safety and proper PPE usage.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
- Ability to work in a dynamic and sometimes physically demanding logistics environment.
