We are seeking an organized and proactive Warehouse Coordinator for our Omaha, Nebraska facility. This role is crucial for overseeing daily warehouse operations, including managing inventory, coordinating shipments, and supervising warehouse staff. You will be responsible for ensuring that all warehouse activities are conducted efficiently, safely, and in accordance with company policies. This is a vital position within our logistics department, impacting overall productivity and cost-effectiveness. Your responsibilities will include managing stock levels, optimizing warehouse layout, maintaining records, and facilitating the smooth flow of goods. We place a high priority on employee safety; you will enforce safety protocols, conduct regular safety inspections, and ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This role may involve occasional lifting of items up to 40 lbs. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in warehouse management or coordination, strong leadership skills, and a thorough understanding of logistics and supply chain principles. Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities are essential. You will be responsible for training and motivating warehouse personnel, fostering a team-oriented environment.
