We are seeking an experienced Inventory Control Specialist to join our St. Louis, Missouri facility. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of our inventory records. Your duties will include conducting regular physical inventory counts, investigating and resolving discrepancies, monitoring inventory levels, and recommending improvements to inventory control procedures. This position is fundamental to our logistics operations, ensuring optimal stock levels and efficient material flow. A strong emphasis is placed on workplace safety; all employees must comply with safety regulations and properly use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). There may be occasional lifting of items up to 25 lbs during cycle counts or audits. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in inventory control, excellent analytical skills, and a meticulous approach to their work. Proficiency with inventory management software and a solid understanding of warehouse operations are essential. You will play a key part in minimizing inventory loss and maximizing operational efficiency. Strong communication skills are necessary as you will interact with warehouse teams and management.
