We are seeking a skilled and certified Forklift Operator to join our busy warehouse in Houston, Texas. As a Forklift Operator, you will play a critical role in the movement of materials within our facility, ensuring efficient and safe handling of goods. Your responsibilities will include operating forklifts to load and unload trucks, move inventory to and from storage areas, and assist with order fulfillment. Maintaining a safe work environment is paramount, and adherence to all Safety guidelines, including the correct use of PPE, is required. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach truck) to move materials.
- Load and unload goods from trucks and trailers.
- Transport inventory to and from storage locations.
- Assist in cycle counting and inventory verification.
- Ensure materials are stacked and stored correctly.
- Perform pre-operation inspections of forklift equipment.
- Follow all company Safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications:
- Valid Forklift Operator certification.
- Proven experience operating various types of forklifts.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to perform moderate Lifting (up to 40 lbs).
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to Safety.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
