Join our growing Atlanta, Georgia team as an Order Picker! We are seeking energetic and detail-oriented individuals to play a key role in our warehouse operations. As an Order Picker, your primary responsibility will be to accurately retrieve items from warehouse storage to fulfill customer orders. This role demands efficiency, accuracy, and a strong focus on Safety. You will work with various picking technologies and equipment, contributing directly to the timely and correct shipment of goods. Responsibilities:
- Read order forms or use scanning equipment to identify items to be picked.
- Locate and retrieve specified items from warehouse shelves and storage locations.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items against order requirements.
- Transport picked items to designated packing or staging areas.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks or order pickers safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all Safety protocols and utilize appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Participate in inventory counts and assist with stock rotation.
- Report any damaged goods or discrepancies to a supervisor promptly.
- Contribute to overall warehouse efficiency and productivity.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse experience, particularly as an order picker, is beneficial.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, and perform tasks requiring moderate Lifting (up to 40 pounds).
- Strong attention to detail to ensure order accuracy.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or scanning devices is a plus.
- Understanding of basic Logistics and warehouse flow.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and follow instructions precisely.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Good physical stamina and manual dexterity.
- Punctual and reliable with a positive attitude.
