Key Responsibilities:
- Unload incoming trucks and verify contents against purchase orders and shipping manifests.
- Inspect goods for damage or discrepancies, documenting any issues.
- Accurately record received items into the inventory management system.
- Tag and stage received goods for put-away or distribution.
- Communicate with suppliers and internal teams regarding receiving discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean and organized receiving area.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and stock checks as needed.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely.
- Perform tasks involving moderate lifting and physical work.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in receiving, warehouse operations, or logistics is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory systems.
- Ability to perform moderate lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
