Join our Philadelphia, Pennsylvania team as an Order Picker! In this vital role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently retrieving items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. Your attention to detail and speed are essential for ensuring timely order fulfillment and customer satisfaction. This position is fundamental to our logistics operations, requiring a high degree of accuracy and physical capability.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse locations based on order slips or RF scanner.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Transport picked items to the packing station.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of picking areas and assigned aisles.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety rules and procedures.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as needed.
- Assist with inventory control tasks, including cycle counts.
- Report any discrepancies or damages found during picking.
- Meet established picking performance metrics.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is beneficial.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs and prolonged standing/walking.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Good listening skills and ability to follow instructions.
- Familiarity with warehouse environments and basic logistics.
- Must be willing to wear required PPE, including safety shoes and high-visibility vests.
- A strong emphasis on safety practices is required.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player mentality.
