To strengthen our Commercial team in Munich, we are currently recruiting for a

Alliance Manager (m/f/d)

In this role, you will work closely with the Associate Director of Alliance Management & Supply Chain and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the success of key strategic partnerships within one of Otsuka's major therapeutic areas. You will help maintain strong, trust-based relationships with our alliance partners and ensure smooth coordination across departments.


  • Coordinate alliance management activities and ensure adherence to contractual commitments
  • Support (and later) lead contract-related updates, including tracking and initiating required changes
  • Contribute to achieving key alliance business objectives
  • Build and foster productive relationships with internal stakeholders and external alliance partners
  • Serve as a primary contact for operational matters (“window person”)
  • Maintain stable risk mitigation procedures for external partnerships
  • Prepare reports and updates for senior management
  • Support the implementation of commercial strategy for interactions between internal and external stakeholders

  • University degree in Business Administration or a comparable field
  • 2+ years' experience in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Accurate, results driven and able to work under strict timelines
  • Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken); German is an advantage
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and open to adopting new digital tools
  • Experienced working in a culturally diverse, international environment
