What You’ll Be Doing:
Reviewing requirements, designs and technical architecture through a quality-first lens
Planning, designing and executing testing across complex, mixed-technology systems
Supporting the definition of test strategies alongside QA Leads and wider delivery teams
Identifying opportunities for test automation and exploratory testing
Executing tests, managing defects, tracking results and reporting progress clearly
Acting as a subject matter expert for at least one core system or application
Driving continuous improvement across QA processes, tools and ways of working
Supporting QA Leads when required and sharing specialist knowledge across the team
Ensuring QA standards and processes are followed consistently
Building strong domain knowledge across retail, digital and regulated environments
Main Skills Needed:
Solid background in QA and testing methodologies, including functional and structural testing
Strong experience working with SQL, Postman, Putty and Windows/Unix environments
Hands‑on use of tools such as Jira, TestRail, Confluence or similar
Proven ability in requirements validation, risk-based testing and estimation
Experience managing test environments and test data end to end
Good understanding of internet technologies and distributed systems
Confidence communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Industry certifications such as ISTQB (or equivalent)
