Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Massage Therapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide therapeutic massage services to patients, promoting relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being. This role requires a strong understanding of patient care, medical terminology, and the ability to work effectively within a clinical environment. Prior experience in hospital settings, acute care, or pediatrics is highly valued. The Massage Therapist will collaborate with medical professionals to deliver personalized treatment plans that meet individual patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform professional massage therapy sessions tailored to each patient's condition and treatment goals
• Assess patient needs through consultation and develop appropriate massage techniques
• Maintain detailed documentation of treatments provided and patient progress in accordance with healthcare protocols
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care plans
• Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for all patients during therapy sessions
• Adhere to all hospital policies, safety standards, and confidentiality requirements
• Stay current with industry best practices and continuing education to enhance skills and knowledge in areas such as acute care and pediatrics

Requirements

• Valid massage therapy license or certification in accordance with state regulations
• Experience working in hospital or clinical settings preferred, especially in acute care or pediatrics
• Strong understanding of patient care principles and medical terminology
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members
• Ability to work compassionately with diverse patient populations, including pediatric and adult patients
• Commitment to maintaining a professional demeanor and adhering to ethical standards in healthcare practice

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 – 8 per week
