The role We have exciting growth plans across the North West and are looking for people who are enthusiastic about joining and driving their career forward with us. The Associate Urban Design Director will play a key role in driving the strategic direction of our Masterplanning & Urban Design team in the North West.
You will be a senior member of the team, working on a wide variety of projects including residential strategic land promotion, urban regeneration and major mixed‑use sustainable urban extensions across the UK. You will collaborate with national house builders, land promoters and landowners and become an integral part of our team.
Required skills and experience
Previous UK-based experience working in a planning or architectural practice on residential/mixed‑use projects for national house builders or housing developers.
Degree in a design related course.
A strong design flair with an interest in delivering high quality projects from a strategic masterplan level to the details of individual built areas and urban spaces.
Competence in the full range of design‑focused packages including AutoCad, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and SketchUp, as well as the Microsoft Office suite.
Strong project management skills with a keen attention to detail.
