Our client is seeking a
Network Engineer
to enhance their networking solutions. This is your chance to work with cutting‑edge technology and drive impactful change on a high‑profile, nationally critical project. This will initially run for
6 months , with likely extensions.
Key Responsibilities
Design and Implementation: Architect, configure, and maintain network infrastructure utilizing Juniper, Palo Alto, and Cisco devices to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Network Management: Oversee LAN, WAN, and VPN operations across multiple locations, ensuring seamless connectivity and security.
Troubleshooting: Proactively monitor and diagnose network issues to minimise downtime and maintain high standards of service.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross‑functional architecture and security teams to integrate advanced solutions and improve network scalability and resilience.
Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate documentation of the network topology, configuration changes, and conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with security policies and best practices.
What You Bring
5+ years of hands‑on experience with Juniper, Palo Alto, and Cisco network devices.
Deep understanding of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF) and switching technologies (VLANs, LACP).
Proven experience deploying and maintaining network services in cloud environments such as AWS, GCP, or Azure (desirable).
Strong capability in integrating network monitoring and automation tools.
Excellent problem‑solving skills complemented by a collaborative team‑oriented approach.
Requirements
Must hold active SC or DV clearance.
Sole British National.
Able to work up to 3 days per week in Central London.
