Stourbridge Mercedes-Benz is seeking a Used Car Sales Manager to lead an established department within a premium automotive franchise. This permanent role offers an industry-leading remuneration package, in-house training, and a structured career path. Hours: 44 hours per week including a mix of Monday to Friday with one late finish, Saturday, and Sunday on a rota basis. Salary: Up to £80,000 OTE (basic plus bonus) depending on experience. Responsibilities
Managing the full sales process from web inquiry to phone and showroom interactions. Managing staff performance through structured 121s, training, and development. Implementing department targets and brand KPIs. Buying vehicles and maintaining up-to-date stock pricing. Ensuring full FCA compliance within the Sales Department. Managing and owning the Customer Satisfaction process. Overseeing day-to-day showroom operations including vehicle valuations, workshop prep, imaging, and showroom presentation; coordinating with the divisional buyer, prep Technicians, detailers, and photography team to meet marketing standards. Qualifications & Experience
You will have prior experience in a similar premium automotive environment with a proven track record in transactional sales and delivering exceptional customer service. You should demonstrate experience in leading a highly motivated team and know how to get the best out of each team member. Experience monitoring financial performance against budget and identifying/addressing shortfalls promptly is essential. You will need the ability to understand finance and insurance product regulations and have excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills. A full UK driving licence is essential.
