ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to obtain and maintain the required customer clearance for access to systems, facilities, equipment and property. CDC / health / science experience is strongly preferred. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Provide visual design services to support the customer's communications, including branding and accessibility standards. Design visual materials (e.g., infographics, multimedia) for internal and external communications, social media, internal and external presentations, and wide-ranging communications campaigns. Provide digital and print media, including physical and online posters, social media, web collateral, web content, digital and print charts, graphs and infographics, advertisements, and other such media. Incorporate 508-compliance in all outputs and align with plain language principles, and comport with CDC and federal regulations. Manage visual projects from concept to completion, coordinate with internal teams to ensure visual consistency and quality. Ensure that all end products are produced and delivered in formats requested by client (i.e., for responsive web environments, social media, high-resolution digital-ready, high-resolution print, PDF, etc.) Possess a proven ability to work with clients to define project requirements and provide process and procedure advice for optimal visual communication product presentations. Possess a proven ability to collaborate with writers, subject matter experts (SMEs) and administrators to produce approved materials. Demonstrate proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, InDesign) and ability to work from concept to completion at a tempo that matches the fast-paced workflow. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Bachelor of Arts degree or Bachelor of Science degree or other graphic design field of study and a minimum of ten (10) years of experience working in graphic visual design.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS Work is primarily performed in an office environment. Regularly required to sit. Regularly required use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms to handle objects and operate tools, computer, and/or controls. Required to speak and hear. Occasionally required to stand, walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Exposed to general office noise with computers printers and light traffic.

The estimated pay range for this role is $100K to $120K, with the final offer contingent on location, skillset, and experience.
